Maintained and updated the "FAO and Emergencies" web site within TYPO3 content management system. Managed official File Transfer Protocol folder for the division. Updated web site news feeds using RSS and Twitter.
Facilitated the maintenance of 58 country profiles highlighting FAO's emergency work and created 27 appeal pages. Held meetings with members of the Disaster and Relief Management Working Group to and compiled suggested revisions, changes and updates to the web site.
Analyzed user feedback and suggested web site improvements, including information architecture, navigation, presentation, and implement modifications.
Prepared advocacy material including leaflets, brochures, CD covers, E-cards, PowerPoint presentations, etc. Executed basic layout and design, editing and insertion of text and photos, and liaising with internal printing unit.
Reviewed and edited documents in accordance with FAO Reporting and Editorial Guidelines, including: final reports for Trust Fund projects, appeals, project documents, progress reports, Letters of Agreement and other documents. Managed the list of contact information for 66 Emergency Coordinators in the field using Excel and Outlook.

Initiated online Marine Protected Area (MPA) and high seas fisheries database comprised of over one hundred references using Excel and Access.
Administered internal FAO web site to make these resources available for internal use using internal content management system. Updated and enhanced the MPA project website in terms of format and content.
Conducted bibliographic research activity on deep-sea fisheries in the Mediterranean high seas and MPAs. Identified relevant external publications and web resources to be included in the database. Researched internal UN releases and publications and simultaneously organized hard-copy documents.

Developed and assessed new Help Desk project, AskHR, that receives HR-related enquiries and requests from WFP staff members in the field within a Lotus Notes automated system.
Compiled standard correspondence within all HR units though interviews to coordinate where staff queries would be directed.
Categorized over 300 forms of queries for clients' use. Gathered demographic statistics from these queries and created charts and graphs for statistical use.
Assisted and wrote reports related to the data found and developed further project proposals.
Designed pamphlets, PowerPoint presentations, all-staff emails and E-cards. Created and proposed template for project website using Dreamweaver.
